Hello family, My name is Priscila and I’m a bilingual nanny (English/Portuguese-BR). I am a warm and nurturing nanny with 7 years of experience working with newborns and toddlers. I love to help families ease their day-to-day stresses by making sure their little ones are taken care of with lots of love and patience and I look forward to helping your children grow and learn in a happy, healthy environment!
Currently I’m working for a family here in Montréal – here I take care of a 6 months old little boy but his family is looking for a live-in nanny for personal reasons and unfortunately I’m not able to do live-in. I working with them until October or until they find the best nanny that could fit with their family, we have a great relationship and everything is going well! 🙂
Before working for them I took care of little Martin (he is the cute boy in my profile picture – his family authorized me to have his pic in my profile), he is 1.6 years old and I took care of him since he was only 5 months. I stopped working for his family because unfortunately they moved back to Spain on July. It’s sad because Martin is a super fun little boy and we had a great connection – but I’m grateful that I had the opportunity of working with this amazing family! Martin’s parents are truly wonderful people and we have a great relationship, they became my family and we would help each other with everything. For sure we will to keep our friendship for life! They would be happy to speak with you about me if you would like!
As you can imagine, I love working as a nanny and I know I do it well. I love to help children learn and explore in a safe, warm, and joyful environment. Arts and crafts, age-appropriate cooking, singing, and storytelling are some of my favourite activities.
Before coming to Canada I was a full-time Au Pair in the U.S. and I worked for the same family for 2 years. I lived with an awesome host family and I took care of 2 amazing boys (the boys you can also see in my pictures). When I got there the little one was only 2 weeks old, and the older one was 3 years old. So I have a lot of experience with newborn and toddlers. I’m happy to provide a reference letter from them if you would like.
I have been a nanny for 4 consecutive years now and I have 7 years of experience total. I have greatly enjoyed my time working with kids, I truly think that it is a gift to see the world through their eyes. I’m very happy to offer high quality care to your children, and I am comfortable performing light housework and cooking if required. I’m available for an interview in person or even to occasionally babysitting so you could see how easily I can get along wit the little ones! Can’t wait to hear from you!
Thank you for reading my letter 🙂
